Summer Auto Parts — Shipping Policy
Processing Time Most orders are dispatched within 48 hours on business days. We do not process or ship on weekends or public holidays. All delivery timeframes are estimates — carrier delays can occur and are outside our control.
How We Ship We fulfill from multiple warehouse locations and select carriers based on your delivery address. Standard shipping rates apply to freight terminal delivery or commercial addresses with dock or forklift access (self-unload).
The following services are not included in standard shipping and must be requested at checkout or before order confirmation:
- Liftgate service
- Residential delivery
- Pre-delivery phone call / appointment scheduling
Deliveries to remote locations — including Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico — may incur additional freight surcharges.
For shipments to Canada or Mexico, customs clearance requirements apply. Contact us at info@summerautoparts.com before placing your order.
Order Changes & Cancellations Changes to an order must be requested before shipment. Modifications after dispatch are not accepted. Cancellations are accepted before the order ships — once shipped, recalling the shipment may incur additional carrier fees.
Note: a tracking number may not be uploaded immediately even if the item has already left our warehouse. If you need to cancel, contact us as early as possible and we will confirm shipment status.
Freight Damage Inspect all items before signing for delivery. If you notice significant damage, refuse the shipment and contact us immediately.
For any damage or missing items — even if minor — note it clearly on the driver's Bill of Lading before signing. Then email info@summerautoparts.com with photos within 24 hours of delivery.
Claims cannot be filed for damage or shortages that were not noted at the time of delivery.
Consolidated Shipments Where possible, multiple items in one order will ship together. If you have questions about your shipment, contact us at info@summerautoparts.com.
